SubNetworx data centers are located in secure telecommunications-grade facilities of which public access is strictly forbidden. Cameras are not allowed allowing for even more security for your servers and from your competition. Access to our cages and cabinets is restricted only to those holding access cards.

Our data center is equipped with the best of the breed security systems and under constant surveillance for the maximum physical security. This includes secure and conditioned environment, Intrusion Detection System, 24x7 security guard, Redundant HVAC system, video camera surveillance, Secure Key Card Access, and 24/7 management and monitoring services. SubNetworx data center includes fully redundant and diverse connections to the Internet backbone through multiple Fast Ethernet connections within our carrier friendly facility. This ensures the fastest and the most reliable connectivity service to our hosting customers.

Our data center has been engineered to avoid any single point of failure in our connectivity, power and/ or HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning). Power systems in the data center are designed to run uninterrupted, 1N+2. All equipment is fed with conditioned power through an AC-DC-AC system that will run if nominal power fails. In the event that an extended power outage occurs our on-site diesel generators can run indefinitely. All of our generators are tested on a regular basis to ensure their stability to function at any time should the need arise.

We have insured that quality equipment will allow us to lessen our cost of ownership; all can rely on the equipment to work as it is intended. Our routing equipment consists of state-of-the-art Cisco and HP equipment, they were chosen specifically for their ability to handle significant amounts of data and traffic more efficiently than other manufacturers.

Our facilities environment is designed to remove dust and contaminants that may ruin sensitive equipment. HVAC systems are redundant to ensure that there is a secondary system in place to take over the primary. Also we have in place an advanced fire-suppression system that will extinguish any fire that may threaten our equipment.

SubNetworx is one of the first providers to deliver secure high-speed transit connections to its clients. Our network is running on a proprietary Quality of Service technology in order to prevent massive amounts of Denial-of-Service (DOS) messages and other suspicious traffic from traveling through. All of our co-location clients sit in their own dedicated connection, not only does this protect you as a client, but it also protects the internet community from malicious attacks, in a case where a client’s equipment may become compromised.

Our advanced firewall system keeps people who don’t belong on our network out. Network engineers monitor twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred sixty-five days a year and employee access to the physical network is extremely limited, to ensure the lowest amount of human error possible in order to maintain a fast and secure connection.
